Which is the smallest constellation?

Crux (the Southern Cross) is the smallest of the 88 modern constellations we use in astronomy. It measures a mere 68 square degrees in total—around one twentieth the size of the largest constellation (Hydra).

Crux is a southern hemisphere constellation, not visible from most of the Northern hemisphere.
