Does the sun rotate?
Yes, it does. It is made of gas/plasma so it is not rigid, which means it spins faster at the equator than at the poles. It rotates once in about 30 days in the polar regions and once in about 24 days at the equator.
On Earth, one rotation is one day. Although the Sun doesn't have days in the same way that planets do, you can think of the Sun's rotation as being roughly the same as a "day" for the Sun.
