Apollo 15

This NASA documentary, APOLLO 15: The mountains of the Moon, contains footage from the mission. Shots of interest include a feather and hammer being dropped together to demonstrate how both fall at the same rate in the absence of atmosphere, and a small memorial left on the Moon dedicated to the astronauts and cosmonauts who died in the pursuit of space exploration.

Apollo 15 was the fourth manned lunar landing. Touchdown was at Hadley rilleon on July 30, 1971. Tasks included performed EVA with the Lunar Roving Vehicle and deploying experiments.
