Voyager 1
Voyager 1 is a robotic space probe launched by NASA in 1977 to explore and study the outer Solar System. It was the first probe to send back detailed images of Saturn and Jupiter, along with many of their moons.

Facts About Voyager 1:
- Voyager 1 is the most distant human-made object in space.
- There are 10 science instruments on board.
- Attached to the probe is a record made of gold, carrying messages for aliens.
- In 2012 Voyager 1 crossed a region at the outer edge of the Solar System called heliopause, thus entering the great void between solar systems - interstellar space.
