Voyager 2
Voyager 2 is a robotic space probe that was launched in 1977, 16 days before its identical twin Voyager 1. Like Voyager 1 it visited Saturn and Jupiter, but Voyager 2 also went on to visit Uranus and Neptune.

Facts About Voyager 2:
- Voyager 2 is one of the most distant human-made objects in space.
- It is expected to provide the first direct measurements of the density and temperature of the interstellar plasma (i.e. the stuff between stars).
- Like Voyager 1 and some other robotic probes, Voyager 2 carries a record containing sounds and images from Earth.
- Voyager 2 is expected to keep operating until about 2025.
